Police routinely harass, brutalize, and kill people across the U.S. The most prevalent and widespread gang violence in the U.S. is carried out by a network of local, state, and national “law enforcement” agencies. We call this “police terror,” because it is a pattern of violence (or the threat of violence) designed to intimidate and coerce our people.
Killer cops are rarely held accountable for their crimes against our communities because other state agents do everything they can to protect them. One of the most powerful weapons is their anonymity.
Mask Off 12, a project of the Indianapolis branch of the Party for Socialism and Liberation, removes the anonymity these racist killer cops hide behind, and promotes the people’s right to know the identities of the real criminals terrorizing our neighborhoods.
We work with families and survivors of police terror to correct cops’ lies in the media about their loved ones. We fight for indictments and convictions of brutal and killer cops. We stand with victims and families in the courtroom and on the streets.
